Delirium
(from Neil Gaiman's "Sandman")
I never wish to be easily defined. I’d rather float over other people’s minds as something strictly fluid and non-perceivable; more like a transparent, paradoxically iridescent creature rather than an actual person.

Delirium is the personification of madness itself. Her realm is almost completely formless, containing colors, shapes, feelings, smells, and thoughts that mingle freely and without cause.
Her appearance changes frequently, the only constant being that one of her eyes is blue, while the other is green. Even her shadow never reflects her shape and is tangible, like velvet. She speaks of random topics, and it is hard to get her to follow a thread of any conversation. Her childlike appearance and nature make her seem innocent, but she is far from it, visiting mortals in their worst moments of madness.
I am my own muse, and I create from the inside out without thought. It is like meditation for me and a way to bypass my intellect so my mind can breathe. I paint and draw each piece pixel by pixel using only Photoshop and the trackpad on my laptop. I see pieces and details before the whole, and as I go through each day, I grab (with my mind's eye) each one of them. Later on, those pieces find their way into and onto each painting and become part of a whole, like a mosaic. Each has its place, but I never foresee any of it. - Jaimy jmokosdesign@gmail.com
